I know its very hard because when you like someone you cant stop thinking about them and you always think of the good points and not the bad, but i would say that as he has just come out of a 3 year relationship i think its best to leave it for a few weeks and just keep texting each other to give him some time to sort his head out. if you get together and hes not got his head in the right place then it could all go wrong.
