What's Lane Like Nowadays??? Other Chi-Hi-Schools?

I'm looking at different Chicago High schools and trying to compare. One of my biggest considerations is Lane Tech (College Prep), which was the best of the best when my dad, his bro, and 2 of his sis went there, but how is is now??? Any opportunities for a person who loves music??? How does it compare w/ northside, payton, etc.. What are those like too??? What kind of ppl do they cater to (I know, smart ppl, wht else)???
