Questions about hyperhydrosis?

I looked after a 20 year old girl who had the surgery. It was the first time I had ever heard of it! It wasn't very painful apparently but for the first 48 hours in hospital, she was extremely itchy and nothing (like antihistamines) would give her any relief. I believe it was a success in the end though. I think it was quite expensive though without private health insurance(here in Australia)
