How do you define plantation mentality?

My plantation mentality is the boss/overlord/owner, has absolute power over the worker.The worker's input isn't welcome. Workers are expendable and easily replaceable. If you are in debt, you are not free to leave until the debt is paid. Often you are required to buy stock in the company to get the job. That stock that's supposed to be a pension plan, christmas bonus etc., it ain't ever going to go up, because it's value is being diluted by each new employee. You are a slave. Just look at your contract. Welcome to the 21st century plantation.
