How do I get accepted into college when I nearly flunked high school?

I was very popular in high school and played football and partied and worked on my car and never really concentrated on school. So I never got into college. I've gone a whole year just working at a stupid job that I hate and I'm fed up with, and living with my mom. Meanwhile my ex-girlfriend (the hottest most popular girl in my high school) goes to Boston University and hooked up with the biggest weirdest nerd ever who goes to Harvard now because he's a computer genius. She won't have anything to do with me anymore. I feel like crap when all my former clmates are going to college and I couldn't get into any college around here (Boston). How do I get accepted to one? And I don't want to go to the crappy community college.
