Force = M * Velocity^2, if you can swing a 2lb bat 60mph that's 7200 lbs of force, if steriods only add 2 mph to your swing it's 7688. That's 7% more force behind every swing of the bat. Figure the average distance to an oufield wall is 380 ft. A ball that would normally travel 360 and be a line drive out, goes 25 feet further and is a home run. That's with only the edition of 2 mph.
